Review of Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor (2013) by Candice Z — 26 Nov 2013
The day of the Doctor was the celebration of the past 50 years. Now I am only 19, so I wouldn't know how the original show would have been, but since I started watching the new series, I have been hooked. I have watched every episode from 2005 and on and I have watched some of the originals.
That being said, this story of the Doctor is amazing. The visuals were amazing and the story was well written. There were points where I didn't like, but those were minor instances and as I think about them more and more, I understand why Steven Moffat did them in that particular way.
And of course Mr. Moffat needs to keep us guessing with the next episode. Being the last episode for Matt Smith but now it seems it could be the last episode for the whole franchise, as Mr. Smith is the final incarnation of the doctor.
Now I will wait for Christmas to see how the doctor will handle his final outing.
