An fitting 50th Anniversary Special for Doctor Who; even better than the Five Doctors. The plot is intricate and interesting, but well pieced-together so it all makes perfect sense. It fills the gap between the old series and the new series nicely.
The emotional impact is strong as powerful surprises are revealed.
