Even though this is actually good, I'm glad the series didn't return with this because of the romance and the type of doctor Paul McGann plays I like Paul McGann in this role when it comes to the charming, heroic sides to him but when it comes to the romance, those are the parts where I lose interest in the movie the companion is hopeless in this and doesn't really do anything to benefit the story and after watching, you don't really remember her.
Overall I thought that this story was ok and I hope we see Paul McGann in the 50th anniversary.
