Review of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) by Gagnidefye — 15 May 2022
That was a surprisingly mediocre Marvel Movie. My brother whispered the plot of "WandaVision" to me during the movie, so that I could understand it. I really hate that we now have to have a Dinsney+ account to follow the Marvel Movies. That is a really greedy move, and if that continues, I'll be very pissed. The pacing felt really off. The first half was way too fast, Wanda as a villain felt really odd. The plot, America and Wanda's evilness all came out of nowhere. Wanda was a good villain because she was a horrifying threat, but her motivation felt so half-assed. And do Americans not feel stupid when they create a character that is called "America" and shoots stars?!
The fights were good though. Especially the one with music notes (you'll know after you watched). And I liked the Illuminati, but a lot of viewers don't even know Black Bolt.
The film really felt weird compared to other Marvel movies. I would not recommend it.
