A tired, dull experience that even Raimi couldn't save. You can tell his heart was in it but that just wasn't enough to keep me engaged. Convoluted storyline with poorly introduced and defined characters mixed in with a bad teen actor, as well as an overbearing score with every song sounding exactly the same.
Cumberbatch performs well as strange, though his performance is largely overshadowed by Elizabeth Olsen who probably gives on of the best performances out of any film in the MCU so far.
