Review of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) by Tbharker — 09 May 2022
Not the worst thing I've ever seen, but certainly not memorable. The whole Marvel multiverse thing is just too inconsistent and has become a tired way of explaining some problems, without addressing the vast majority of dissonances it introduces.
Add to that this movie couldn't decide whether it was a superhero action flick or an cheap-thrills make-you-scream horror flick. The movie ended with most in our large group scratching our heads, wondering what it was supposed to have been that we just watched.
