Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness may rely too much on the madness. The movie felt as though it could not decide on it's tone and by no means felt like a sequel to the first Doctor Strange movie tonal wise.
Wanda's motivation is written off as just "The Darkhold" and feels cheap after spending nearly 10 years with the character. For a movie that was supposed to have such emotional weight I unfortunately did not feel much.
As for the positives the visuals and action pieces were fun.
