Review of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) by Oz_Momotaro — 06 May 2022

This is a mish-mash of a movie, where the there are some good set-pieces that are almost made pointless by strange (self-indulgent) choices that make the movie and characters introduced either seem just token cameos, or are actually eroding a lot of previous storylines and relationships.

Raimi hasn't made a movie in a long time, and I think it shows... and I think the story also made very corrosive choices. Don't get me started on the dark strange battle - and the final end-credit scene (which I'm sure is Raimi's thumbing his nose at Marvel and Disney.

.. but more importantly it showed how little respect he had for us the viewers).
