Review of Doctor Strange (2016) by Joshua H — 15 Mar 2017
The visuals are worth the price of admission, Dr Strange is pretty entertaining even if this is a paint by numbers origin story we seen before but packed with a bunch of spiritual mumbo jumbo that's both tired and stupid.
How many times can Marvel repackage the same formulaic super-hero boo-boo? Indefinitely! If this came out out 10 years ago would of been innovative and quite something... but after Logan and Deadpool, hopeful this the final chapter in DC and Marvel continuing to pump out derivative, focus-group approved CGI jerk-off-fest.
FINAL VERDICT: B+.
