Review of Doctor Strange (2016) by Ginak — 07 Nov 2016

A fun film with an excellent cast. I had had enough of films based on Marvel comics a long time ago, but I wanted to see three of my favorite actors (Benedict Cumberbatch, Mads Mickelsson, and Tilda Swinton) since I trust them not to make dull movies.

I was rewarded with a film I thoroughly enjoyed, even with its crazy philosophy and wild (and occasionally cheesy) special effects. My one criticism was that it got a bit too long after a while, and I kept saying to myself “I thought this film was only two hours.

” The Easter egg is also a lot of fun, and even witty! I think this is a film I will watch with great pleasure over and over again – even without 3D, which didn’t seem to me to add all that much.
