Review of Doctor Strange (2016) by Sean C — 21 Dec 2016
This is going to be one of the few very memorable Marvel movies.
Antagonist Analysis: While Mads Mikkelsen performed spectacularly, as always, his actual character was unfortunately one-dimensional (pun intended). The movie attempted to give him reason for emotion, but never acted upon it; leaving Mads only one monologue to explain his extremist actions.
Overall, a visually fantastic movie, with a well-fit cast. Not to mention, arguably the best climactic resolution I can remember in an action movie.
And, of course, Benadryl Pumpkinpatch was a near perfect Doctor Strange!
Definitely a must-see for Marvel fans.
