Review of Doctor Strange (2016) by Jesse G — 19 Mar 2017
The film is a bit overrated with a story line that drags. It lacks the pop of other Marvel movies but that can be attributed to the source material. Benedict Cumberbatch brings a solid performance. Tilda Swinton brings a much needed presence and mystery to the plot.
It's a starting line movie and one that will hopefully develop better in the larger Marvel Universe. Fun to look at but it lacks the "watch it again charm" of Guardians or Antman.
