Doctor strange is the film that brought the magic to the marvel universe although directed by a director with a mediocre history besides that I was not sure how a director of terror would be the one indicated for a film of marvel so what was the result ? As the most solid film in the universe of marvel since iron man which is a triumph in everything that has to do with visual spectacle, performances and pacing.

The film manages to solve three major flaws that I had with marvel movies and are the soundtrack that until now is the most original and memorable of all the films in this cinematic universe as well as being the first to help establish the environment along with accompany The images, as I said before the visual spectacle that at times is a completely acid trip in which strange explores other realities, next to the sequences that taken of the buildings doubling of inception but the difference is that they are taken to a maximum level which Is good because one of my complaints with inception is that he did not take his images further because the director was restrained and kept within the logic despite being a dream movie that does not happen here makes it clear that this is magic without ever Be contained under the laws of physics or logic and gives us, for example, the sequence in which our heroes escape from the villains running through the buildings moving from side to side but is directed and edited in a way that never gets Put confusing thing that also applies to fights, along with enjoying every stretch of the chase to delight us visually and keep the tension.

And the third flaw that manages to solve at least with me is the villain, as most marvel villains will know are mediocre besides not having great aspirations that is not the case here kaecillius that is beautifully acted by mads mikkelsen especially on the scene In which he has a passionate monologue with strange about his goals that not only succeeds in sounding diabolical, in addition mikkelsen manages to make us understand his motivations, he also has a diametrically opposed goal to destroy the world in fact is a man with good intentions manipulated from the Dark dimension for the real evil being and another great performance is on the part of Benedict Cumberbatch that makes us sympathize with strange even though his pedantry and arrogance reaches a level that makes you want to strangle him unlike iron man which never came To those extremes of arrogance which is good because it allowed it to be somewhat different to Tony Stark.

Scott derrickson did a very good job of developing Dr. Strange's tragedy by treating it in a serious way (without losing the humor of marvel although his hands are never the object of joke which would have been easy for marvel to make jokes related to That although the film still has a lot of dry humor that manages to work well for "strange" reasons) by focusing his hands on various shots to remind us of his pain or also better by the way he uses his watch in the final scene, That visually manage to convey to us subtly as strange accepts its destiny, it really helps to end it in a dramatic way without becoming a melodrama that makes obvious emphasis on the suffering of the character and finally the third act beautifully decides to move away from the typical conclusion full of action , Giving us something more ingenious and that is a great relief, and hope that marvel continues with this good streak.
