If Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are the pioneers of the Golden Age of Comics; and Barry Allen and Hal Jordan the bearers of the Silver Age; Steve Ditko's Spider-Man and Doctor Strange are the part of the Marvel Age.
Sure, Kirby's there with the Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk, Thor...pretty much everything else. Ditko was pretty innovative with Spider-Man's design and the trippy nature of Doctor Strange.
That comes across in the translation from the comics to live action. Doctor Strange is enjoyable, as much as the Marvel films before it.
