At times so bad it's good - Benedict's intensity is sometimes out of place even for the mind-bending places his character goes. Unintended hilarity abounds. At other times it's just bad. But there are moments just too amazeballs for words.
And dare I say, some of the most tasteful yet dazzling CG work to date. Small wonder it was nominated for Best FX Academy Award. The whitewashing is troubling but if you can get past that a truly unique installment to the Marvel Universe awaits.
