Review of Doctor Sleep (2019) by Mattfisher — 08 Dec 2019

Fueled by a really original story and interesting characters, this movie is definitely worth your time. The only flaws I have are uses of unnecessary CGI where practical effects would have made certain things feel more real, and also a third act that is not bad but feels as though it isn't as well executed as it could have been.

If you are a fan of the Shining novel or film by Kubrick you will absolutely love this sequel and if you are a new comer to the material you will be captivated by the characters and the story being told.
