Review of Doctor Dolittle (1967) by Graham L — 25 Feb 2008
There is little to distinguish this silly sixties musical, which would have been forgivable if not for the source material, Hugh Lofting's wonderful Dr. Doolittle books. None of the songs are memorable and some of the effects fall flat.
It does work as a family film I suppose.
