Review of Doctor Butcher M.D. (1980) by Colin M — 05 Jul 2007
Pretty unremarkable, aside from a few unique deaths - like ripping off an outboard motor and nailing a zombie in the head. Pointless T&A as usual from this kind of movie at this point in time, that's either a plus or minus depending on your views - didn't really hurt it from my perspective.
The sound was hilarious though. Probably not too often can you remark more about the audio then the video when it comes to zombie flicks - but this movie has some hilarious spots where it seems like the sound effects guys just when overboard. Like an autopsy scene that sounded more like an outtake from a particularly sloppy porn movie (sorry, but that's what it reminded me of).
Anyway, it's a zombie movie, with a mad scientist and some cannibals and overactive audio.
