Review of DOA: Dead or Alive (2006) by Jason J — 20 Dec 2009

I was genuinely surprised by this movie. I expected the worst, and it was pretty good. The fight sequences were well choreographed, the cinematography at times was good-excellent. The script was.. overly predictable and kinda pathetic, but that's to be expected with it being taken from a fighting video game.

With a decent cast, this came out being okay. They seemed to put alot of effort into this film, even though it was one of those films you seriously have to ask why they thought it was a good idea to produce.

Worth watching atleast once, it's got alot of funny moments that are genuinely funny not cheese funny.
