Review of DOA: Dead or Alive (2006) by Julie H — 15 Dec 2010

This surprisingly wasn't quite as bad as I originally anticipated. As many game to film adaptions are usually quite horrible anyways.

The strongest part of similarity between the games and movies is the attention and effort with some of the costumes at least (even though it's far from perfect).

Plenty and quite many of the characters are really nothing like their game counter parts but at least the film isn't trying to really seriously portray the games so for that reason, it makes it more acceptable to see as a film to have fun.
