A fun action movie to watch...that is all. Blood and gore would've turned it mortal kombat. Though the fight scenes, as unrealistic as they are in the games, they were still very entertaining to watch.
Don't expect it to match the game(s) story/stories or unrealistic body proportions. Characters are LOOSELY based on the game characters, so don't expect this movie to be like a live-action DoA because it isn't.
Why did I rate it so highly? I tend to rate movies others hate but I like to watch/re-watch with high scores. Mentality for this kind of movie: It's so bad it's good.
