An engrossing film that continues the advancement of quality, faith-based films. Is it Oscar worthy? No. Is it heavy-handed at time with the Gospel? Yes. But I'd rather a film that preaches Jesus outright than one that leaves the message up for interpretation.
The Gospel is too important to just drop hints - it needs to be stated boldly. This film was well made, well acted, and moving.
