Review of Do You Believe? (2015) by Richard D — 29 Mar 2015
While I am a believer, I don't normally like certain Christian films as they tend to be somewhat cheezy. When I first heard about this film I gained a certain interest. Then I heard it was written by the same people who wrote "God's not dead" and I was very skeptical of this film immediately because I did not enjoy the film "God's not dead".
I decided to give this film a chance to see how it would turn out. In my honest opinion, I thought the film was great. Definitely better than "God's not dead". While that doesn't say much, I gotta say the film definitely deals with a lot of everyday problems Christians, and the general public deal with on a daily basis.
Whether it's teenage pregnancy, disease, problems in your marriage, issues in understanding your identity and purpose, and Faith and disbelief, this film was well done. Not oscar worthy, but definitely something nice to watch with Family.
The question was asked "Do you believe?" Yes, I do.
