Review of Do the Right Thing (1997) by Muzo K — 16 Jul 2009
The first time I saw this film was in a film critique class. Prior to that class, I had no desire to see it. During the viewing, I kept thinking 'What is the big deal about this film? Its so boring and anticlimactic!' And then it got to the last 20 minutes, and I understood completely.
This was one of the first films that made me feel actual rage-and I am still not sure what characters in the film the rage was targeted at. Maybe just ignorance in general.
