Review of Do the Right Thing (1997) by Matt S — 02 Feb 2010
One of my absolute favorite films of all time. I believe I have watched this more then any other movie- ever. Great cast, great drama, Spike took a very simple backdrop- a hot summer's day in Brooklyn in 1989, and used it as a springboard for so many social and cultural issues effecting people at that time, and yes these issues are still relevant 21 years later.
