Review of Do the Right Thing (1997) by Sean W — 29 Oct 2011
I have no means to sound racist. The characters are black and white. The conflicts are blurred. There are event stacked and stacked and stacked.... The movie feels like a a drag. But, the final 20 minutes are a shocking shake to the film.
A sudden event in an ordinary day. Divisive, devastating, and masterpiece. Thank you, Spike Lee.
