Review of Do the Right Thing (1997) by Carlos C — 28 Apr 2012
Spike Lee's masterpiece about racial tentions on the most hottest day of the summer still causes heavy debate about the decisions made by the characters. With realistic dialogue, energetic performances, tight editing and a riveting climax that is probably the most visual poetic and powerful climax ever made that still raises debate especially on the infamous window smashing scene.
Probably the greatest movie about racism and the most overrated movie of all time.
