Review of Do the Right Thing (1997) by Scott K — 30 May 2012
Stylish; funny; hip look at racial animosity in the early 90s. Perhaps a little too on the nose but it still packs a pretty big emotional wallop during its last act. Lee is good enough and kind of charming as Mookie but his talents are better put to use behind the camera.
