Review of Do the Right Thing (1997) by Jared S — 30 Jun 2013
This is a movie about tension in the middle of the Summer on a hot day. Do The Right Thing is a powerful film with excellent characters, dialogue, story, camera work and acting - overall a brilliantly directed film about racism and human relationships (of all kinds from boss and co-worker, girlfriend and boyfriend, neighbors, friends and brothers to father and son).
This is one of Spike Lee's best works.
