Though I don't really like Spike Lee this is admittedly quite a good film. The performances are great (sides Spike Lee's which is the exact opposite of great). The writing, when not filled with swear words, is also something to appreciate.
There are also some very cool shots and nice edits. The biggest problem with the film (sides Spike Lee's performance) is probably the ending. I don't really like it nor do I hate it, it's just a mix bag of stuff however you do get Spike Lee's seething bias pretty clearly and that's why it's not really a great ending, if that makes sense.
