Stylish camera work and color scheme make this an interesting movie to watch. The story is a bit cliche and much of it has been re-hached over the years but is a bit more light-hearted than most racial movies.
I'm sure it means more to some people than it does to me (being an Asian-Italian living in the whitest part of english speaking Canada) but If you can relate to this movie, it really is a pleasure to watch.
the style and music is so 1980's that it's almost cliche, but that's part of the charm.
