Review of Django Unchained (2012) by Daniel H — 22 Jan 2015
I have to admit that I've never seen the original Django movies, but this is very cool. It's basically what would happen if From Dusk Till Dawn, Oh Brother Where Art Thou and Pulp Fiction had a child.
And that child kicks some major ass. Weird dialogues, a cool spin on racism in the historical west and of course Quentin Tarantino's bloody Handprint all over the thing make it joyful to watch it you're not too light hearted or weird about racism.
