Review of Django Unchained (2012) by Hillary L — 18 Feb 2015
A slumgullion of various influences, an hour too long, Tarantino doesn't know if he is making a tribute to the westerns of Ford and Hawkes or if he is making a parody of them. There are explosions and a high body count which are popular.
Tarantino would like to be Sam Peckinpah, but he is really Ed Woods.
