Review of Django Unchained (2012) by Ameen K — 12 Apr 2015

Quentin Tarantino is the man! He knows how to turn a very tragic and horrible time period into a fun action flick! This film shows how brutal the slaves were treated back in the day but it's handled in a way that is fun yet brutal. This movie is already getting a lot of buzz for the amount of n words and violence they showed. They need to realize that back in the day, they used to say those words. Tarantino is one of the best directors in terms of direction and in general terms. He is not apologetic and he shows how harsh it is. Tarantino wanted to get his point across by showing how harsh the conditions for the slaves were but also has a tale of revenge that is great. Everyone in this film is so good, they should all get Oscars but unfortunately it doesn't work that way. The movie has no flaws, it's a perfect movie. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time.
