Review of Django Unchained (2012) by Pedro J — 06 Mar 2016
A candid documentation of American racism and white supermacy that effectively establishes itself as a title worthy of standing next to the classics helmed by Tarantino. 'Django Unchained' rings true to the cinephile's stylistically-indulgent tendencies, simultaneously moving deeper into a racially-charged subject, tainted with brutality, hypocrisy and the consequences of slavery.
I'd proudly shake Tarantino's hand right now.
