Review of Django Unchained (2012) by James H — 11 Mar 2016
My favourite Quentin Tarantino movie Django Unchained surprised me with its stylistic violence, a great soundtrack, a solid score and a phenomenal script. Not to mention the acting, Jamie Foxx gives his best performance of his career while seeing Leonardo DiCaprio and Christoph Waltz trying to out do each other is tremendously entertaining and even though DiCaprio plays one of the most hateful characters of his career you can't help but love him.
In some scenes you can literally cut the tension with a knife and that's what this film is so great at, this movie shows that there is still hope for the western genre.
