Review of Django Unchained (2012) by Armando P — 31 Mar 2017
One of the less predictable movies I've had the joy of watching.
The excellent editing and mixing of sound, together with the performances and well-known and beloved cinematography of Tarantino, make it a masterpiece that captures the essence of western cinema, with a darker message but at the same time playing with humor. The right humor.
And in the end, a happy ending, but one totally different from the others.
And All hail Christoph Waltz as well. Just made it again. An impecable performance and giving life to Tarantino's character so well that is one the best things in the movie.
