The film Django Unchained is set prior to the civil war were slavery and torture are common sights of everyday life. Django (Jamie Foxx) is a slave that has suffered through relentless punishment from some of the fiercest owners in this time.

Schultz in on the hunt for the barbarous Brittle brothers to collect the bounty on their heads; Django is the only one to have worked for the brothers and can help Schultz pinpoint their location.
Although, Django has a rewarding task ahead of him he never loses focus of finding his long lost wife, Broomhilda (Kerry Washington) who was separated from him from slave trade. Schultz and Django hunt eventually leads him to the infamous slave plantation, Candieland.
Candieland is operated by a witty gentleman, Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio). Putting on an act, Schultz and Django enter Candieland and began exploring but they soon catch the eye of Candie's trusted house slave known as Stephen (Samuel L.
Jackson) and raise suspensions with in Candieland.
