Review of Django (1966) by Stephanie R — 31 May 2008
I JUST bought this like a year ago, and after having watched it, I wondered why it had taken me so long to come upon this gem. It is ironic that, though the atmosphere of western movies seems to be my favourite, I have not seen more of them. I have only seen django and once upon a time in the west to date (el topo as well if that counts). This flick hasn't gotten the attention it deserves in my opinion. Franco nero is absolutely wonderful and genuinely "bad-ass", not the forced, fake crap we often see in film.
Anyways, shitty review, but basically, this movie is HIGHLY entertaining and very worth the 20-30 bucks it would cost you to add it to your collection.
