Slow first act, but really picks up after 30 minutes. Definate influence on 90's retrocoolgangster movies. Source of Tarantino's ear surgery scene in Reservoir Dogs. Really holds up well. Plus, any movie where KKK members get shot and tortured is a plus in my book.
