Review of Django (1966) by Senor C — 07 Mar 2007
DJANGO!! DJANGO!!..that part should be sung like it is during the opening credits because I really dig this movie. Nero is super cool in this (even if the dubbing sucks ass) & the image of him dragging that coffin (occupied w/ a gatling gun) might become one of my favorites in screen history.
Django doesn't have a fraction of the style found in a Leone flix but it is fairly tight & fun for fans of the spaghettis & the climax is great (right down to the wire of its running time).
.Possible personal cult film over time & w/ some more veiwings plus I need to take in some of its dozen sequels (saddly none of them star Franco Nero).
