If you liked the Notebook, you'll like this movie. If you didn't like the Notebook... you will STILL like this movie. =).
I really enjoyed this movie... and I didn't really like the Notebook too much. I haven't read the book, but I have a peculiar feeling that I would like it. This movie reminds you that each family has it's struggles, and that each individual faces his or her own nosedives in life that almost break them down... but also help them come back a stronger person. The flashbacks keep you watching, and I didn't want it to end. It's a quirky movie, and, if you let it, it will capture your heart. While there are some SERIOUSLY depressing moments, the comic relief is just where it should be.
This is a great chick movie to watch with your mom and just sigh and ponder life over. This movie is personal like other movies only dream to be.
