Review of Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (2002) by Zane T — 16 May 2009
Well-made, but ultimately pointless film. Another one of those books which everyone mysteriously raves about, gets made into a film only to display what a flimsy so-what story it has. Really, this is much ado about nothing.
Mum and daughter fall out, cue lots of flashbacks which don't really explain much or add anything, then the obvious happens. So what.
