Ha, didnt realise I was letting myself in for a 4hr marathon when I started watching this, but dont regret it at all. the space and rhythm of painting and dialogue are kind of mesmerising and the atmosphere conjured by the cinematography is just superb, the pivotal moments are all the more pronounced for being surrounded by the low key tension and painting that permeates the film.
