A four hour exploration of an artist's portrait. It essentially translates to "A Beautiful Pain in the Ass". It's one of the all-time great art films demonstrating the struggles of creation and inspiration of the muse.
Apparently, the 2 hour cut features different footage. Nevertheless, its relaxed storytelling is sophisticated, mature and beautifully profound.
