Review of Divergent (2014) by Jimenez M — 16 Dec 2014
This was an ok opening act, obviously set up for a series. The problem I have with it is that the world is based on a caste system of government which has been done many times before. In many ways it kind of feels like Hunger Games.
The acting was good and the 2 main characters are very likeable. I want to like the series but it leaves part 2 with a large burden, separating itself from other told stories and create a new one.
