Review of Divergent (2014) by Kelly P — 12 Jan 2015
This movie is filled with as much action and adventure as there is fantasy and romance. It is the perfect balance that will make both parties excited to talk about afterwards. Not only does Shailene Woodley (Tris) take you through her journey to finding herself, she also takes you on an emotional rollercoaster where you never know what is coming.
Theo James (Four) also adds to the mystery in the movie, where you never know what he's thinking or what he is going to do next. There are many other characters such as Kate Winslet (Jeanine) and Miles Teller (Peter) that make Tris's life as a divergent a hard thing to cover up.
Overall, as Tris fights to keep her secret in and find a place in the world, "Divergent" gives the audience an indescribable feeling afterwords that words cannot describe.
