Review of Divergent (2014) by Landis Anna F — 20 Jan 2015
I thought I was going to hate it, but I didn't. I wish they cast someone else, she couldn't really carry the movie on her own. There wasn't much chemistry between her and the guy, he's only 7 or 8 years older than her, but it seemed like more.
Kate Winslet wasn't right in this part. The fight scenes weren't great and seeing Kate get hit was weird. The ending was meh, guess they were hoping for a sequel, which I would probably watch, on HBO like this version.
I would classify these with The Giver and The Host, which I liked more.
