Review of Divergent (2014) by Keegan G — 21 Mar 2015
At times, Divergent proves to be an entertaining film that shows elements of the empowered woman and how young adults struggle to find a place in society. Unfortunately, this does not hide the fact that the film is a downgraded version of the Hunger Games series and creates a plot that is both predictable and coincidental.
Furthermore, it fails to fully explain the significance of 'Divergence' in this dystopia society...we just know that it can tear apart that society...but why?
