Review of Divergent (2014) by Josh V — 09 Apr 2015

I personally liked the film, while it did take its toll time with the pacing, and some events were out of place, I think Divergent was a really good adaptation of the Veronica Roth novel.

It's not perfect and it still carries the young and adult book tropes that make it bland and boring to those who read the books. This story really made me feel something good, I just hope that with the other three films it will do alright and now, I say arguably, that this was better than the hunger games. Not that those books are bad but I found divergent much more interesting and easier to follow.

I highly recommend the film and books to anyone echoes interested.
